Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received today Moldovan President Igor Dodon, on the sideline of World Government Summit.
Crown Prince of Dubai HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Deputy Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, also attended the meeting. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid welcomed the visiting guest discussed bilateral relations and ways to boosts cooperation in various sectors the two nations as well as a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future and Chairman of the WGS H.E. Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem Ebrahim Al Hashemi, HE Mohammed Al Shaibani Director General of HH The Ruler's Court and Director- General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai H.E. Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, and UAE Ambassador to Ukraine and Non-Resident Ambassador to Moldova Salem Ahmed Salem AlKaabi.
Sheikh Mohammed also received the World Bank Group President, Dr. Jim Yong Kim, on the sidelines of the World Government Summit, WGS, 2018. During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed and Dr. Kim discussed a number of development issues in countries with limited financial and economic resources and ways to strengthen the World Bank's work, which plays a decisive role in the development and modernisation programmes for developing countries.
