Yesterday, Tuesday the 5th of February, the Pope made his way to Zayed Sports City in a specially modified Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen.
As part of the Year of Tolerance, he conducted a public mass for approximately 140,000 people. He then met with leaders of other faiths in the capital before heading to the Founder's Memorial, which is dedicated to founding President Sheikh Zayed.
The pontiff's visit marks a historic day in the UAE.
